In pain, He comforts.

He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the LORD. ~ Psalm 112:6-8

On Christmas Day, my parents surprised the boys and I with the announcement that my mom was going to have another baby. We were SO excited and wanted to tell our family and friends right away, but my parents wanted to wait until the baby was 12 weeks just to be safe (my mom miscarried about four years ago).

It pains me to say that our family lost a sweet, sweet blessing this week. My little brother or sister is now with our dear Lord. And though our pain and grief is great, it is very comforting to know he or she is in the safest place anyone could ever be.

I want to thank our family friends who knew what was going on this week for praying for us and encouraging us with your cards and phone calls. You are wonderful!

    1. Thank you dear dear friend, and thank you for being a "shoulder" I can cry on, even if it was over the phone.
